swirlTV: Introducing ‘Impudencia’February 10th, 2012 0 Comments

Welcome to Swirl TV. Keep up with our latest wine bar offerings, special guest appearances and various video intrigue. This month a the Swirl wine bar we are featuring a delicious new Pinot Noir -2009 Atonement “Impudencia” Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir.

Josh Beckett, our New York coorespondent for Swirl TV brings us the latest from “Ginger World.”

“With Curt Schachlin (Sans Liege, Groundwork Wines) making the wine, and the folks at Proof Wine Collective are delivering a brillantly aromatic Pinot. Aged for twenty-two months in mostly used (20% new) French oak, the 2009 “Impudentia” presents an elegant nose redolent of cherries, cranberry, mulling spice, and hints of tobacco leaf. The palate is round and lush, and with air gains complexity as sweet vanilla, chocolate, and earth spice aromas and flavors fold into the fruit.”

  • “Thank you Casey for helping me select the wine for our dinner party last Saturday. The Coastview Syrah was simply perfect with the short ribs, and the sauterne was perfect with the almond tort. See you all soon.” –Janey Peterson
